Prompt email response from the Wondershare support team. ![]() Great UI/UX makes the software easy to use and understand. A LOT of different features and tools for managing iOS and Android devices. In this regard, the program offers value, and we recommend it. We should note that we like the all-in-one concept that Dr.Fone pursues it allows us to spend less money and get more done. It’s a bit too much for us to review them all at the moment. It’s worth noting that data recovery is just one of the many features that Dr.Fone offers. We’ll share more details about our findings below. Dr.Fone was able to recover a few other things, such as bookmarks and contacts, but the test files we purposefully deleted for the program to find were lost. Some recovered photos did not have the same quality as the originals. Photos that were “recovered” were actually photos that were still on the device itself. It turns out that Data Recovery didn’t go very well during our tests. In this review, we’ll focus on the data recovery feature, which is probably the reason why you want to use the program. Additionally, Dr.Fone offers a number of useful tools such as lock screen removal, rooting, screen recording, and more to help manage your phone or tablet. It can recover your deleted files, backup saved data, and restore it to another device. Wondershare Dr.Fone is an all-around software for managing data on your iOS and Android devices. ![]()

Spades Rules Briefly Explained Setup ![]() ![]() ![]() Our research purpose differed from prior reports comparing the MoCA to the MMSE in that we wished to establish a MoCA score range that captures as many MCI cases as reasonable, including those at a very early stage, as designated using ADNI study criteria. These early MCI cases often perform in the normal range on routine office-based tests, such as the MoCA and MMSE, whereas late MCI cases can score in the mild dementia range. Accordingly, the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) study has extended the range of their designation of MCI cases beyond the Peterson criteria to include those at earlier stages. Because functional impairment is required for a dementia diagnosis, this could be a differentiating feature from MCI when cognitive scores overlap. More sensitive neuropsychological tests would need to be applied secondarily to separate those with cognitive complaints representing the earliest MCI cases from HCs. Further, for clinicians wishing to detect cognitive impairment earlier, knowing the MCI score range using an office-based test like the MoCA would be very helpful. As MCI becomes a more commonly targeted population for clinical trials, the ability to capture the full range of MCI cases is crucial. Also, MCI and dementia often comprised a cognitively impaired group where identifying cutoff values from HCs were sought. Thus, current MoCA literature has focused on MCI defined more consistent with what is now considered late MCI. These investigators and others who have evaluated lower MoCA cutoff values of ≤23 and ≤20 report increased detection of impaired MCI cases from HCs but risk leaving more subtly impaired MCI cases within the normal range. found that an MMSE cutoff ≤24 did not distinguish HCs from MCI however, the MoCA, using a cutoff of ≤23, with 96 % sensitivity and 95 % specificity, did. Using the Peterson criteria for amnestic MCI, Luis et al. Subsequent studies explored lower MoCA cutoff scores to increase specificity for detection of cognitive impairment as compared to HCs. The MoCA had greater sensitivity than MMSE in detecting MCI versus HCs (90 % versus 18 %) however, specificity was lower for the MoCA than MMSE (87 % versus 100 %). MoCA scores for MCI subjects were detected as abnormal in 73 % of those whose MMSE was normal. Mean scores in HC, MCI and mild AD dementia groups were lower on the MoCA than MMSE, though the overall correlation between tests was high ( r = 0.87). The initial MoCA validation study required an MMSE score of at least 17 for inclusion and used cutoff values of ≤25 on both tests to denote abnormal scores consistent with amnestic MCI (Peterson criteria) or mild AD. found a higher correlation of the MoCA than MMSE with neuropsychological tests for memory, executive functioning, visuospatial, and the Mattis Dementia Rating Scale. reported better longitudinal sensitivity for MoCA than MMSE. Greater sensitivity to detect mild levels of cognitive impairment has been reported for the MoCA in MCI and AD dementia, stroke and transient ischemic attack patients and Parkinson’s disease. Though it offers many of the same advantages of the MMSE, the MoCA was developed as a more challenging test that includes executive function, higher-level language, and complex visuospatial processing to enable detection of mild impairment with less ceiling effect. As research increasingly focuses on milder stages of AD, options other than the MMSE are needed for clinicians for earlier diagnosis and management. Its poor sensitivity for distinguishing mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is well-described and can be attributed to a lack of complexity as well as the absence of executive function items. One problem with the MMSE is its ceiling effect or limited dynamic performance range for normal individuals, which increases the likelihood that persons in predementia stages score within the normal range (24 and above). The MMSE is also commonly used as a proxy for staging of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Though there are a number of possible tests, they recommend the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), the most widely used cognitive screening test used by physicians for general cognitive evaluation, and also the newer Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA). Galvin and Sadowski recently wrote clinical recommendations for primary care physician evaluation of older patients for cognitive impairment, emphasizing the need to look for early warning signs where formal cognitive testing can aid detection. Office-based, multi-domain cognitive tests are commonly administered in clinical situations to evaluate patients with cognitive impairment. ![]() ![]() ![]() Overall, WordPress is a very easy CMS to use, and can provide a very quick way to get any form of website online fast. Because of this, the appearance of the photon ring around the black hole would look fairly uniform if you were to, hypothetically take a straight-up look at it from up close. Furthermore, the intensity of light would be much, much higher at closer quarters. Because of this, light will have taken much lesser distance to travel from source to point of incidence. ![]() In Interstellar, this one detail was not included, because cinematically speaking, we were looking at the black hole at a much closer distance, in comparison to what we saw from Earth. This explains the optical difference in the real image, since the spin creates a significant difference in the amount of time that the two light sources take to travel to Earth. As a result, there are two parts of the spin - one, where light is speeding towards us, and the other, where light is being thrown in a direction opposite to us. As a result, the light around it would be spinning, with spacetime warping around it. The explanation for this is that while this supermassive black hole is collapsing, it is also spinning. As a result, the strip of light matter streaking through the centre of Gargantua is quite close to factual accuracy, absolute confirmation of which we shall find in the coming months, with continued observation of it and the Sagittarius-A black hole, by the EHT.įurthermore, the real image of the black hole shows different intensities of light around its top-left edge, with a brighter crescent towards the bottom-right. The tilted angle at its poles where we observed the black hole also explain the irregularity in the photon circle that can be seen around the dying star. As a result, the strip of matter across the centre of the black hole that we observed in a galaxy that is not too far, far away appeared in the extended light circle surrounding the centre of the black hole. Interstellar also portrayed a more uniform light circle around the black hole, while the real black hole’s image shows irregularity in the photon circle around it.įor the first point of difference, the main reason is that while we got a frontal view of the black hole in Interstellar, the M87 black hole was viewed by us from close to its poles. Furthermore, Gargantua in Interstellar had a more prominent, definite photon circle, while the light in the image stitched together by the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) has a fainter print. ![]() To understand this, it is first important to understand a major point of difference - the black hole from Interstellar had a thin strip of light matter around its middle, in appearance similar to how rings around a planet looks like. Coming on the back of the first ever black hole image shared by the Event Horizon Telescope’s team of scientists, it is quite a feat of scientific accuracy, and the scientific facts mentioned in it are equally amazing.Īccording to the report, Gargantua in Interstellar is an incredibly close representation of an actual black hole, and while it does seem quite different from the reconstructed image of the M87 black hole that we saw yesterday, the two are quite similar in multiple ways. Pleasantly, a report published by Gizmodo has revealed a piece of detail from the movie - its portrayal of the black hole was actually strikingly close to the reality. The cinematic genius of Christopher Nolan produced an intriguing psychological and engineering journey, giving us a glimpse of a cinematic representation of a black hole - the dying star, Gargantua. Interstellar is possibly one of the most gorgeous space epics of all time. ![]() ![]() Consequently, beryllium is significantly smaller than lithium. This means that the effective nuclear charge experienced by the 2 s electrons in beryllium is between +1 and +2 (the calculated value is +1.66). ![]() (More detailed calculations give a value of Z eff = +1.26 for Li.) In contrast, the two 2 s electrons in beryllium do not shield each other very well, although the filled 1 s 2 shell effectively neutralizes two of the four positive charges in the nucleus. Thus the single 2 s electron in lithium experiences an effective nuclear charge of approximately +1 because the electrons in the filled 1 s 2 shell effectively neutralize two of the three positive charges in the nucleus. Although electrons are being added to the 2 s and 2 p orbitals, electrons in the same principal shell are not very effective at shielding one another from the nuclear charge. All have a filled 1 s 2 inner shell, but as we go from left to right across the row, the nuclear charge increases from +3 to +10. I don’t expect to just throw some manipulatives out there and NOT have them building or making letters or seeing how tall they can stack them. I’ve learned that if you give them that time to explore a bit, they’ll be more likely to work after. I want them to start to explore the different kinds of materials that we will be using. They still want to play and explore…and I can’t blame them! So while I’m establishing those first math center rotations, my goals are to let them become familiar with the routines and expectations of what goes on in math centers. They just got dropped off from preschool. ![]() When I first get started with our math centers in September, I try to remind myself that they are just little. I have found this gives students time to adjust to our routines and procedures, as well as begin to build their independent reading stamina (which we practice as a whole class from the second week of school when we “read” quietly for one minute, and then two minutes, and so on and so forth.) Here is a great example from Marsha on differentiating activities based off on assessments: Īt the beginning of the year, I introduce centers after students are used to our daily routine (typically after about one month of kindergarten). Which leads me to the importance of differentiating your instruction to meet the needs of your students. Research tells us that optimal learning takes place when children are moderately challenged – meaning that you are pushing them just slightly out of their comfort zone. In kindergarten, children come in at the beginning of the year with all sorts of varying levels of ability – some know their letters and are beginning readers, some can sing the alphabet song and identify letters in their name, and some may ask “What’s a letter?” They really are all over the board! By assessing where students are, you can determine what they need. One of the biggest challenges at the beginning of the year in kindergarten especially is meeting students where they are. Before I get started, I want to preface that I learned so much from following Marsha McGuire on IG and her blog She is a gold mine of kindergarten center ideas and resources! So that being said, my centers are based off of her amazing differentiated instruction and center management system. ![]() |
